Los Angeles Event Videography That Generated $250K in ROI: Pitch Club Inner Circle Retreat

The Pitch Club Inner Circle Retreat is by far one of our favorite events to cover for one big reason: the community and experiences that Pitch Club Founder Rebecca Cafiero cultivates are unmatched.

This kind of immersive coverage is a core part of our approach to Los Angeles event photography and videography, where we document not just what happened, but how it felt to be in the room.

Why Business Retreats Need a Different Kind of Event Videography & Photography

This year’s retreat was held in Palm Springs, a short two-hour drive outside of LA. Although the retreat took place in Palm Springs, it was filmed by Los Angeles event videographer Solhaus Media, reflecting the kind of offsite business retreats many Southern California brands host outside the city.

Unlike large conferences, this Inner Circle retreat was designed for depth, not scale. Small group masterminds, intimate workshops, and emotionally vulnerable conversations require someone who understands how to move quietly, read the room, and capture moments without interrupting them.

This is where business retreat event videography & photography becomes less about stage highlights and more about transformation, connection, and long-term brand storytelling.

Immersing in the Brand for Optimal Impact

Hugs, celebrations, and big emotions are always part of Rebecca Cafiero’s business retreats, and because we’ve been working with Rebecca for almost half a decade, we know exactly when those moments are going to happen so we can capture photo and video of them.

Having been on both sides, as both a vendor, and an attendee, the week of this retreat is nothing short of magic.

But what makes it so special as the former, is that I have become fully immersed in Rebecca’s brand and the experience of the retreat as a whole.

“We’re not just the help,” my colleague, Emily Kim of Emily Kim Co. said one year when we were both shooting the event.

While it won’t always work out to have the experience of being inside someone’s community before shooting the videos or photos for it, one thing is for certain – hiring a team that is aligned with your values and is not only willing to absorb everything there is to know about your brand is imperative and it pays off…BIG TIME.

This Los Angeles Event Video Led to $250K in Sales

Rebecca hired us to capture multiple parts of her retreat. This included full general coverage, from the welcome dinner to the various activities throughout the week, such as hiking & an aura reading for each participant, to B-Roll of each of her speakers and workshop facilitators.

She also includes mini brand video and photo sessions for each attendee, with strategic shots planned ahead, such as speaker B-Roll & social content.

After each attendee’s brand video session, we also collect video testimonials for the entire Pitch Club team, including the glam squad that prepped the ladies for their brand shoots, as well as testimonials for each speaker and workshop facilitator.

With all of this content, the final event sizzle video captured the true essence of Rebecca’s community and the experience of being part of The Pitch Club mastermind.

At Rebecca’s next major event, Weekend @ the Pitch Club, where she sells spots to the upcoming year’s mastermind, the video played before she made her sales pitch, and she signed 10 new members within 48 hours.

That’s the power of event videography designed for business growth, not just memories.

This sizzle reel from Rebecca Cafiero’s Inner Circle retreat resulted in a $250K ROI when she played it during her sales pitch for the next year’s mastermind.

How An Event Video Sells Your Service or Product

Rebecca received video testimonials from all 20 of the attendees, about the retreat itself, and about the experience of being in her mastermind and working with her. We also collected video testimonials for each of the facilitators and speakers.

“Video testimonials, like that emotion of feeling and seeing a story is more powerful than a sales page or me standing on stage for 30 minutes and going through features of benefits could ever be, because it gives someone the essence that is often so hard to actually capture,” says Rebecca. “It doesn't have to be me explaining it. It can be done through moving video. It can be done through other people's words, their stories, their emotions, their expressions.

“And you can get grounded back into the experience you have given others,” she continues. “When I could watch that video and see like, this is the impact that I've created, and I'm inviting someone energetically into the experience and to the possibility of having the same type of impact, it reminds me of what I've done. So I don't have to work on sales tactics. I don't have to draw on anything but being rooted into the emotion and the essence of the moment I just got to literally experience with a group of other people and then invite them into that experience with me.

From Retreat Experience to Year-Round Marketing Content

A group of women celebrates at a business retreat.

Because we approached this as both a live experience and a content creation opportunity, Rebecca walked away with assets she could use all year long — testimonials, brand visuals, teaching clips, and emotional storytelling moments.

This is the difference between hiring someone to “film your event” and working with a Los Angeles event photography and videography team that understands brand positioning, offers, and audience psychology.

Added Benefits of Event Videography

While our event sizzle clearly helped Rebecca in a very direct way when it came to selling her program, there were a lot of additional benefits to Rebecca from her investment.

By offering video coverage to her speakers and workshop facilitators at the event, she was able to cut down on her costs of hiring speakers, as she leveraged video content to them instead. Major bonus points for providing them with video testimonials as well.

And the fully produced sizzle reel was not the only asset Rebecca received at the end of her event – we also delivered a robust library full of B-Roll clips, formatted in both horizontal and vertical, so that she and her team have a massive catalog of assets to market with throughout the year and beyond.

A screenshot of the media library clients get from Solhaus Media event video coverage.

Clients receive a robust media library from their events, allowing them to use the assets long after the event ends.

This project is a great example of the event photography and video work we offer in Los Angeles.

Looking for a team that understands both storytelling and sales? We create Los Angeles event photography and videography that turns live experiences into long-term marketing assets.
