Los Angeles Brand Videography for a Registered Dietitian Educator
You may remember Ilene Cohen from a couple of years ago when we did her initial set of brand photos and brand video. Since then, Ilene has been using her assets across social media, her website, industry databases, and beyond.
Ever the serial entrepreneur, Ilene also runs a tutoring company called The Key Strategy™ for students looking to pass their Registered Dietitian exam. Because the strategies she teaches are so effective, it has been wildly successful in helping students ace their test with flying colors.
Writing The Script For A Branding Video
Ilene was actually one of the first clients I used my signature Swift Scripts & Prompts System with back in 2021. This method ensures we touch on who Ilene is, what she does, the pain points of her potential clients, her credentials, and how she brings that all together to help them.
This system has helped Solhaus Media write dozens of scripts for our clients, but it was starting to feel a little constrained. I wanted to see what other parts of the story we could tell outside of these parameters.
Using AI To Plan A Video Shoot
Over here at Solhaus Media, we are doing our best to keep our AI use ethical. We see the value it provides both us and our clients, but want to make sure we’re not using it as a crutch or backbone in our business. We are also transparent with our clients about how and when we use AI.
In that vein, we decided to try feeding our ChatGPT (her name is Ivy) the transcript from our planning call with Ilene with the prompt “Please read and analyze the following text, and provide a video script for Ilene Cohen’s brand answering the questions of who she is, what she does, what the pain points of her potential clients are, while also including her credentials and how she brings that all together to help them.”
The result was magical. Ivy not only provided a top-notch script, but also a shot list and storyboard for the video along with it, which got my wheels turning even more for how I can use ChatGPT in the future.
Of course, there were many tweaks we made to ensure the voice and language were reflective of Ilene, and we removed some lines that just didn’t fit our narrative.
But this saved me hours of work with reading and shuffling through information, as well as provided some inspiration for shots to use.
Using Stock Footage In Your Brand Video
Because of the nature of Ilene’s script, there were going to be a lot of shots we couldn’t get. This included having a large variety of shots that showed students studying and students taking tests in a classroom. Hiring models and booking a space to be able to shoot such a large production would make the shoot cost prohibitive for a solopreneur.
So we leaned on stock footage that I was able to acquire thanks to a subscription with Envato Elements. Not only did they have a vast library of shots that were perfect for our video, Envato also had a great library of music that was perfectly neutral for the vibe of Ilene’s video.
Adding Brand Photography To Your Video Session
Ilene also needed some fresh brand photos for her business. Her shoot in 2021 focused solely on the Registered Dietitian branch of her business, but now she needed some more neutral shots that would work for the educator branch of her business.
We got some photos at her new home, and then went outside in the afternoon for some shots with the pretty flowers blooming in Los Angeles.
Ilene walked away with a media library of images, and two promotional videos for the next chapter of her business.
