Los Angeles Event Photography for Non-Profit Launch: Latinas in Beauty at Negroni Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills. A swanky restaurant. And a good cause. All part of the formula for an amazing event in Los Angeles – and we were there to capture it all.
Latinas in Beauty is a new non-profit organization that promotes the advancement of Latina women within the beauty industry. They provide community, advocacy, resources, and education to help them achieve their professional and entrepreneurial goals.
On October 1, 2024, they held their launch event at Negroni Cafe in Beverly Hills and asked us to capture both photo and video for the occasion.
Nonprofit Event Video and Photography in Los Angeles: Celebrating the Latinas in Beauty Launch
Latinas in Beauty brought together founders, creators, and community leaders for a powerful nonprofit launch event in Beverly Hills. The evening blended celebration, visibility, and mission, making it essential to document the atmosphere with storytelling-driven visuals. Through Los Angeles nonprofit event photography and videography, this event was captured in a way that supports future fundraising, partnerships, and community growth.
The evening kicked off with a step-and-repeat followed by mingling and networking. Solhaus Media team photographer Rachael Buechler got great shots of everyone posing in front of the swanky backdrop and captured candid moments of new friendships forming as guests made their way inside.
As a team specializing in Los Angeles event photography, we know how important it is to capture both posed and behind-the-scenes moments to help organizations tell a full story.
Capturing Mission, Community, and Representation Through Visual Storytelling
Nonprofit events are about more than attendance, they are about impact. From red carpet arrivals to candid conversations and community connections, every moment was documented to reflect the purpose behind Latinas in Beauty. This kind of intentional documentation ensures that organizations walk away with assets that extend the life of the event far beyond the evening itself.
Powerful Speaker Coverage for Non-Profit Leaders
Keynote moments are some of the most valuable storytelling opportunities at nonprofit events.
After the welcome, Latinas in Beauty Founder Emily Perez introduced a lineup of powerhouse speakers. Each shared their journey of launching beauty brands, breaking barriers, and building confidence as Latina entrepreneurs.
We filmed each speaker’s full presentation, which became part of the event’s highlight reel and was also delivered to each speaker for use in their own portfolios and reels. These kinds of videos help amplify voices and give organizations lasting content to share with their audiences.
Why Nonprofit Event Photo and Video Matter for Fundraising
High-quality event visuals play a direct role in donor trust and organizational credibility. Strong imagery shows energy, attendance, engagement, and real community impact. That’s why events like this are documented through both photography and video — so nonprofits leave with assets that help them communicate their mission clearly and consistently.
Hiring professional videographers and photographers might feel like a luxury, but it’s actually one of the smartest marketing moves a non-profit can make.
Photos and videos from your events raise awareness, create emotional connections with your audience, and ultimately inspire more people to support your mission.
Building Trust With Donors Through Visual Storytelling
When supporters can see the community, the leadership, and the purpose in action, they are more likely to stay connected and invested. Strategic event coverage helps nonprofits build a visual archive they can use in newsletters, donor updates, annual reports, and fundraising campaigns throughout the year.
For Latinas in Beauty, we pulled powerful moments from speakers and attendees to showcase their mission in action. Photography like this increases visibility, builds brand identity, and invites donors into the story.
Video highlights and speaker clips are also perfect for social media, reels, and grant applications. They help show impact in a visually compelling way.
